Frankentoast is a minicomic you had to “be there” to get, but not to appreciate. Prior to the June 2010 hiatus, all comics were drawn by hand using a Pilot Precise v5 pen, then scanned using Ubuntu 9.10 and edited using The GIMP.
Since then, the fairly important scanner that was used for this process stopped working. The equally necessary laptop broke as well. To top it off, the amazing v5 pen… exploded.
Now, the comic is drawn in Adobe Illustrator CS5 with a Wacom Bamboo Pen. Don’t worry, the v5 is still used for brainstorming!
